It was glow in all over state to optimize the resource unitization to endow with optimal to do good to the masses. It was occasion of mid 60’s and 70’s to propel the public transport facility to the people of Pakistan. The result of that envisage a public transport system instigated in name of Government Transport Services (GTS) all over Pakistan. A jeep able road constructed by our Chinese neighbors to connect the region with all parts of Pakistan which now known as Karakorum Highway(KKH). To provide transport facility to the masses of Northern Areas, Federal Govt. launched public transport from Northern Areas to Islamabad to transport the masses from the region to rest of the country through road constructed by Chinese. The transport service was launched with four (4) Jeeps on jeep able road.

Later with the passage of time the corporation has extended its operations. Then NATCO management decide to buy further buses to provide maximum transportation facility to the masses of GB. When it was smelled in all quarters in period of 90’s that the corporation is giving profit to the Govt. and providing employment, the corporation of become eye catcher for everyone as the management gained trust and became brand of GB. NATCO enjoyed the prestige of the brand and the corporation has been offered wheat carriage to GB. Then the management of NATCO, bought Mercedes buses and those models were used in Russian war. The corporation has put the money and efforts on it to make the old trucks to make strong fleet to move in new area of carriage. It went along with the performance and with help of GB Govt.

NATCO is now one of largest corporation of GB with modern Daewoo buses and Daewoo Trucks with modern IT tracking system. Now NATCO is operating its own Petrol Pumps, workshop, Wheat lifting Carriage from PASSCO to GB Courier Service and Utility stores. NATCO is principally in agreement to go for Carriage of POL from PSO bulk depot to Gilgit Juglot Bulk depot. It is imperative to mention that NATCO management is planning to operate NATCO hospitals, Schools, Driving School and tourism related activities to expand. NATCO has international operations as well, the corporation has its service from Gilgit to Tashkurgan of Xinxiang Province of China.
